Quarantine Beach Day

Sand never felt so good! It had been a year since I last walked on a beach, also the same time between shoots. So we killed many birds with one stone this day. Beauty Visionary Stephen Hudson (SevenKnows) the Gorgeous Venance Chiepodeu and myself made our way to Fire Island just in time to catch some high Sun, and Golden Hour!

The most interesting part of our adventure wasn’t the many masked bikini babes, but the unfamiliar mosquito bites! Covid has definitely pushed some normalities to the back of my mind, being locked away from the tangible world for 6 months is surely a first for a lot of us. However, we SLAYED this shoot!

Hopefully the 2nd wave is a lie, we have things to do!!

Creative Friends

It’s hard to live a super happy life as an artist now a days, especially in New York City. So as artists we must stick together and help each other up the mountain side. I had the opportunity to spend some time with a creative friend of mine, Bryan Taylor a designer/stylist (instagram: e_scapereality). Every time we link up we have non stop talks about betterment! Money, career, ideas, collabs, etc we talk about being greater and better. We had an awesome photo shoot as well.

This post is just a bit of encouragement to those who feel like there is no happiness or elevation for the struggling artist. there is and you can find it, just don’t do it alone. Find a friend and/or outlet where there are others reaching for the same happiness.

What a pleasure shooting with Fashion Influencer B. Hawk, Stylist Beoncia Dunn, and Beauty Expert Stephen “SevenKnows” Hudson. Location was set in the New York West Village Flatiron Building. The vibe was definitely “Vintage”, with a hint of Rock!!
